World Longest Natural Sandy Sea Beach - Cox's Bazar

Cox's Bazar is one of the most attractive tourist spots & the longest longest natural sandy sea beach in the world. It is an unbroken 125 km sandy sea beach with a gentle slope.

Cox’s Bazar is also known by the name "Panowa" means “yellow flower”.The modern name Cox's Bazar/Bazaar originated from the name of a British East India Company officer, Captain Hiram Cox. Its other old name was "Palongkee". Cox's Bazar is a small town. But the natural beauty of the town is very charming. The climate of this place is very fine. The Bay of Bengal lies on the south of it.

In Cox’s Bazar we can enjoy the most attractive natural scenery of Laboni beach,  Himchari and Enani Beach. In the evening we can enjoy the beauty of setting-sun behind the waves of the sea.
